Trust and accuracy
Editorial and corrections policy
Every record should make clear what is confirmed, what is still developing, and what readers can verify for themselves.
Sources and verification
We prioritize first-party announcements from studios, networks, publishers, authors, and production companies, followed by established trade reporting. Community suggestions require a supporting link. Rumors and unsourced social posts are not treated as confirmation.
Status and date labels
Dates and production plans change, so records reflect the best current public information. “Coming soon” is applied automatically to dated releases within roughly 90 days. “Most anticipated” is a manual editorial highlight, not a measured popularity ranking or paid placement.
Community records
New suggestions are screened for spam and harmful content. A clean suggestion may be visible with an unverified label before a moderator approves it. Screening supports moderation; it does not replace human judgment.
Corrections
Every catalog card includes “Report an error.” A proposed correction stays separate from the public record until a moderator reviews its explanation and supporting source. Approved records remain editable when better information becomes available.
Commercial independence
Advertising, affiliate relationships, free products, or industry contact will not guarantee coverage, promotion, or a favorable description. Commercial content will be labeled and kept distinct from catalog facts.
